King of the swingers Phil Varone travels to Tampa to get down and dirty with fellow lifestylers in his latest title featuring real swinging couples. Two things that are noticeable from the start: Phil appears to be a genuinely nice guy, not someone with a huge ego that doesn’t match his fame; secondly, he’s the life of this party, making sure everyone is comfortable, having a great time and charming the girls into getting naked in front of his camera, which is what he does best anyway.

After introducing each couple briefly with a few questions about their swinging experience, everyone then gets into sex party mood. Some time is spent experimenting with toys, playing adult-oriented games, and even a stripper pole is introduced during one segment. Phil eventually gets it on with Jen, the only single gal (known as a unicorn in swinger vernacular) at the party, while the other couples in attendance enjoy their wife swapping trysts later in the evening, with Phil joining in on the fun down the line.

Very well shot and edited, the sex is totally real, with real couples actually having a good time. In addition, the highlights of the party interspersed between scenes work in the movie’s favor. Amateur enthusiasts who enjoy the raw aspect of the genre or those who consider themselves swingers will certainly embrace Varone’s take on this often misunderstood lifestyle.
