You gotta love porn that makes you learn, and who else but Lucas Kazan gives you an education and a boner at the same time? This feature - Kazan's 15th - has its roots in the opera Cosi fan tutte, from Lorenzo da Ponte and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (whose music serves as the soundtrack for much of the film). Its theme of fiancée swapping finds the perfect vehicle in modern day gay porn. Friends Matthias Vannelli and Jason are convinced they have faithful lovers. But troublemaker Jean Franko is out to prove that all men, at heart, are sexpigs. So he and friend Roberto Giorgio start their crusade to get the boyfriends - Martin Dejdar and Karel Rok - to be unfaithful. The action plays out like a series of comedic sexual episodes, with the music and editing perfectly setting the tone: a balance of humor and sensuality. Even the opening five-minute montage - which alternates between scenes of the cast lounging and having fun as the glorious classical music plays - is hot, with five of the shirtless cast members running toward the camera in a field. It's simple and pure visuals like this that set Kazan apart. Thanks to its fabulous videography, beautiful Italian backgrounds, and a handsome cast (the final threeway with Vannelli - who bottoms! - Franko and Jason taking the cake), this gets pre-noms for Best Foreign Video, Director, Actor (Franko), Videography.
RETAILING: Kazan has built a reputation for quality, and is more popular with each release.
