The experimental Wet Palms arrived from Jet Set in 2004, blending large amounts of story and dialogue for a gay sex soap opera riff on Melrose Place. It was a multi-part series that debuted online and was more about story than sex, which is one of the reasons this compilation—which combines the sex-only scenes from the first half of the franchise—is a disappointment.

The strength of the series was never the dirty stuff, although the hardcore action had an allure within the context of the story and characterizations. Without that to back it up here, the sex flounders. Most of these 10 scenes are quick—only the final three reach standard scene length—and most of them have heavy edits and less-than-optimal camera angles, with minimal close-ups on the good stuff. That makes it hard to get into anything, although the cast features some top-notch names.

Highlights include Chad Donovan’s monster slab dumping a load on Brad Benton’s shirt, Ashton Sorenson shooting his wad on Cody Cash’s face (and then licking it up), Cameron Fox getting his meaty slab sucked by Rob Romoni, and (the best moment) Corbin Michaels’ big dick staying stiff as he gets fucked by Ethan Mark. But by and large, this won’t garner much attention—especially considering the Wet Palms craze died down years ago.
