Wassup Bro 5, which claims to be the first movie of French superstar François Sagat, is now available for the first time in the United States. There isn’t much else here to warrant its release. The 2004 film from Citebeur/French Connection features six mediocre scenes with several ethnic models who wear masks and have sex in gloomy basements. Hamid, a cute 22-year-old flirts with the camera and talks about how big his dick is (with subtitles) before jacking on his tummy and hitting the shower. Salem and Mike are skinny and awkward in their poorly lit pairing, while Nasser and Boris play thieves who are trying to sell off their goods but end up sampling each other’s instead. But all the subpar scenes just feel like filler for Sagat’s encounter with Boris. Looking young and fresh-faced, Sagat already has his now infamous head tattoo, not to mention that killer body. He just seems more tentative and green than the experienced sex performer we know today. It’s doubtful that he would be cast with someone as unattractive as Boris these days, but Sagat makes the best of it, sucking and bottoming with ease (well, mostly there is some grimacing during the anal sequence). Fans might find Wassup Bro 5 interesting for the debut of a model who would go on to become one of porn’s major leading men; we’d rather watch him at his polished best.
