The Keystone Kops have nothing on the prank-playing policemen in Double Shafted. Director Eugene even adds zany music to let us know how silly these hunks are. The handsome Mangiatti twins (Fabrizio and Fernando) are the victims of a mistaken-identity ruse, complete with a bomb-related terrorist plot (heavy subtext for gay porn these days). First, the brothers are chained to chairs in the police station, where they are shown tapes of all the sexy shenanigans that go on there. We see cops jacking in the library, having threeways on the stairs and two even have sex in front of their prisoner. Ultimately, high jinks ensue, and the twins turn the tables by sucking and fucking their captor (Evan Rochelle). And, of course, there is a surprise twist ending that turns Double Shafted’s premise on its ear. But the attractive foreign cast (who all seem to favor wearing knee-high boots during sex) and inspired action will keep viewers entertained until the fun finale. Picture quality is excellent. However, the kooky music and synchronized moaning that is typical of these movies gets annoying, so be prepared to turn off the sound and read the subtitles. We won’t tell the cops.

Retailing: The Mangiatti twins on an arty box cover should move some copies, as will the attractive foreign cast.
