Narration is the only link to plot in this tepid release, and unfortunately the narrator sounds both bored and lecherous as he introduces each scene, eliciting memories of the Myers "Saturday Night Live" character from the Sprockets sketch ("Would you like to pet my monkey?"). Deliberate, slow pans of the so-so action and glacial pacing (the opening, a solo, is particularly dull) don't help, which means that after the giggling from the voiceover subsides, there's not much else in the way of entertainment value offered. A repetitive electronic musical score numbs further. It's too bad, because the cast offers some very attractive men, and if they could only manage hard-ons longer than immediately preceding their cum-shots, there might be something to watch. What happened to the old, decadent Berlin? It may still exist, but this lackluster release certainly doesn't do its reputation for sexual adventurism any favors.
RETAILING: Slow and rather dull, although there are many handsome men in the cast.
