"Hip-hop porn" producer/ director Enrique Cruz' usual loose-cannon cinematic inventiveness and exuberant performers make his usual sophisticated mix of sleazy sex and metropolitan atmosphere. Eight funky black and/or Latino scenes (two dorm-room trios) are laid in sunny San Juan and at a college in gritty New York. High-pitched, experimental color alternates with blue-and-white shots, widescreen with conventional proportions. It's not always possible to be sure who's narrating, or what they're saying, or whether there was intended to be a story, but the mostly-uncut cast members all have personality to spare and no shame whatsoever. A floodlit fuck atop a van stands out. Guys just looking for masturbation-inspiration may resent the distraction of moviemaking originality.
