Marc Fredrics debuts as a director in a promising fashion. He has a good feel for situation and character, a nice sense of humor, and an obvious concern for high production values. What he needs to watch more carefully is pacing and structure, which often depend as much on the editing as the direction. Here the main problem occurs in the fourth episode, a three-way encounter with Ryan, Power and Stevens. The timing is off, and the episode drags out to the point that all momentum is lost. Just in terms of minutes, it is the longest segment of the feature, however far from the best.

The true stars are Beau Edwards, as a dancer/stripper, and Brad Mitchell, as a bartender. Both lend energy and passion to their encounters with the nominal star, Rex Chandler. A big, beautiful  blond (over six feet in height and wel over six inches in length), Chandler seems (at least here and in Falcon's Made For You) something of a mannequin in the Nick Harmon tradition. He needs an exciting partner to make his physical beauty work to the viewer's advantage -- especially since his sexual repertoire is as limited as Jeff Stryker's. I'm eager to see what Matt Sterling can do with him in Biggest Of Them All.
