Honorable Discharge has the distinction of being the only adult picture ever previewed by Tom Brokaw on NBC's "Evening News". This came about during a media frenzy involving a different producer, who was "investigated" for using adult Marines in solo jerk sequences (see Mickey See's October '93 report, p. 102). Honorable Discharge also earns instant recognition for capturing nine consecutive insertion shots, shattering all previous records for this event. This is of special note for viewers who detest miraculous insertions (segueing or dissolving over that thrilling moment of penetration). Three Marine recruits become buddies after discovering they all share some variation of the name Charles – "Chuck" Henderson (Chuck Barron), "Chaz" Hackett, (Chris McKenzie and "Charlie" McNally (Brad Ericksen).
Ericksen is caught exploring Mikel Karr's tail with his "flashlight." Because of this, they get tossed out of the Corps. The others go on to Military Police school. McKenzie brags of his conquests of "bitches." He's actually been performing in porn films. Anther weekend, Barron gets a ride from military maven Jason Andrews, then rides Andrews' butt. Barron visits Ericksen, who becomes a grad student. They're soon in bed, where Barron "finds out what all the shouting's about". Barron spots McKenzie in a leather bar plugging Josh Taylor. The three buddies get together and nobody's butt is left unplugged.
Perennial klutz Gino Colbert, playing three nonsexual roles, finds a matchbook from a gay bar in a locker search. Barron and McKenzie take their discharges to court, ending with a victory celebration on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court. A great cast, full running time, suspenseful story and lots of action all add up to a sure-fire hit. Market this winner with your other military-oriented themes.
