Sam Abdul's debut as a director shows the obvious influence of Gino Colbert, who appears in a nonsexual role. We have the skeleton of a plot - two roommates (Andrews and Matthews) place an ad for an apartment in the newspaper just to meet hunky men for fun in the sack - but it is unevenly developed. Characterizations remain on the surface, and none of the action is exceptionally hot. The fourway that constitutes the video's sexual climax is particularly disappointing. But for a first outing, the title shows promise. Abdul needs to find his own voice as a director.
