First off, this is a foot fetish tape with a military theme. Secondly, it is of a high quality and uses big-name stars. Don't expect anything amateurish. There is also plenty of real boot camp footage with marching chants to set up each of the four vignettes. This documentary footage is posterized in post-production, which is a gimmicky technique that is usually very annoying in porn, but here it is used very well. It gives everything a camouflage effect and the set-ups of Marines sliding down ropes from helicopters and doing the obstacle course are short enough to no be problematic.

The scenes are handled in a very interesting way. Foot Patrol operates with an intensely anticipatory aesthetic. This tape is a tease. No music is used and the camera wanders longingly over the guys' boot as they slowly (oh so slowly) undo laces and massage tired dogs. It's all about anticipation, making the subsequent payoff even more powerful when the sex does happen.
