VALENCIA, Calif.—The 2021 AVN Awards winners were announced this past weekend, and lesbian adult film studio Girlfriends Films was once again awarded Best All-Girl Series or Site for its signature all-girl series Women Seeking Women. The event also included GFF Distribution’s David Diamond being posthumously inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame – Executive Branch in the Class of 2021.
“On behalf of everyone here at Girlfriends, we want to express our sincere thanks to AVN for this incredible honor,” said Girlfriends Films president Moose. “This past year has been an unusual time, and I wish Diamond could be here for his induction to the Hall of Fame. This year we will celebrate two amazing decades of making movies, and we truly appreciate the ongoing support of our friends, fans and colleagues. Looking forward to good things ahead.”
Additional AVN Awards for Girlfriends Films Distribution studios include Best Directing – Comedy for Girlsway’s Cougar Queen: A Tiger King Parody; Best Actor – Featurette for Tommy Pistol in Another Life by MissaX; and Best Leading Actor to Seth Gamble for his role in A Killer on the Loose by MissaX. Angela White of AGW Productions earned several awards including Best Actress - Featurette, Favorite Female Porn Star, Most Spectacular Boobs, Social Media Star, Best Group Sex Scene and Best Non-Sex Performance.
Also nominated in the Best All-Girl Series category was Girlfriends Films’ original cheerleader-themed saga Cheer Squad Sleepovers. The studio had received a handful of nominations including Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene for Brooklyn Gray and Vanna Bardot in Secret Lesbian Diaries 9, Best All-Girl Movie or Anthology for Net Skirts 22.0, Best Female Mixed-Age Movie or Anthology for Mother-Daughter Exchange Club 60, and Best Leading Actress (Lacy Lennon) and Best Non-Sex Performance (Serene Siren) in Siren’s original feature thriller Alien Rhapsody.
