LOS ANGELES—Mick Blue is up for Male Performer of the Year for the 2017 NightMoves Awards.
Also, Mick and his wife Anikka Albrite were the leads in Adventures with the Baumgartners (Adam & Eve), which is nominated for Best Feature Production Release.
If he wins, Blue will be able to set the trophy next to the three Male Performer of the Year awards he’s earned at the AVN Awards, his AFWG Award for Best European Male Performer and his trophy from XRCO for Male Performer of the Year.
Of course, seeing Adventures with the Baumgartners, a blockbuster movie close to the hearts of Mick and Anikka would also be a great moment for one of the top couples in the adult industry.
“It’s a great honor to receive these nominations,” Mick said. “I am always humbled by the Male Performer noms. There are so many great, great performers out there, so to be recognized as one of the top guys in the industry is huge. And to be nominated for Baumgartners, which gave Anikka and I the opportunity to work together so closely, it would be incredible to see that movie win an award.”
Winners in both categories will be decided by fan voting, which takes place through Sept. 15.
The 25th annual NightMoves Awards will be held Oct. 8 at Thee Dollhouse in Tampa, Fla. For more information go to NightMovesOnline.com.
