BALI—Eva Oh, the pro Domme better known as Mistress Eva, has released a brand-new episode of her "Safeword Podcast" and also makes guest appearances on "Turn Me On" with Jeremie and Bryde and CAM4 Radio's "Licked & Loaded" with Laura Desirée.
Oh, who co-hosts "Safeword" with fetish journalist, educator and multimedia artist Dirk Hooper, opened up in the new episode on the topic “How Does BDSM Uplift You?” with insights on timely themes such as tolerance, diversity, the demographics of BDSM, creativity, public play and calming the mind.
The duo opened up their social media to listeners’ posts about how BDSM uplifts them, and Oh said she was “amazed by the response and grateful for the community that are ready to celebrate themselves."
Oh also spoke with "Turn Me On" hosts Jeremie and Bryde on their episode “Laughing With My Slaves - With Mistress Eva,” where she talked about vulnerability and playfulness, censorship and monetizing intimacy. “I think that everything is an exchange, and I am just making it quite clear with a number,” she said.
“Every relationship has a payoff … I don’t think it’s any different really, it’s just that I have a number as opposed to other needs," she added. "My energy in general can be quite limited, and I can be quite intense in how I give it.”

On the newest episode of CAM4 Radio's "Licked & Loaded," Oh—who just celebrated 10 years in the business—opens up to host Desirée about her favorite clients, what a session with her is like, the surge in signups, which recently hit 22,000, for her BDSM training course YouWillPleaseMe.com, and the overwhelming support she has received from her subs over the past year.
“Yes, they’re technically my clients, but I would talk to them every month ... they were there for me—‘what do you need, we’re just here to listen’—they’re not pushing their agendas," Oh said. "It’s really a symbiotic relationship in an ideal space.”
Oh also reveals how she stays creative with her subs: “I think just the way that I’m formatted, it’s kind of twisted and loves to be entertained ... if things flatline a little bit, I’m like, let’s just change this up ... it’s just my drive. My baseline for excitement is maybe a little bit higher than others!”
As for competition in the booming dominatrix business, Oh says that there is always room for skilled, intuitive professionals: “I love how the industry has become so diversified, that we all look so different and even if we look similar, the approach ... you have your thing, I have my thing and we understand how to market it ... we can be more supportive of each other as well.”
