CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Newcomer Brixley Benz discusses her arrival in the adult industry and more in a comprehensive Fresh Faces profile published in the September issue of AVN magazine.
The 19-year-old Phoenix native of Black/Latina (Mexico, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic) background made her debut during what some in the industry call "The Great Shutdown of 2020." Benz arrived a year ago when she was fresh off being the prom queen at her Arizona high school, and then last April joined the industry after a friend who had dabbled in porn suggested she give it a shot.
“I like it because it feels like a whole new world,” Benz told AVN. “I see things almost through a different perspective now. I feel like there is a lot on you, mentally, but once you get past that part it’s crazy in a good way.”

“A lot of people know," she said. "My family found out two days apart from each other. You’ve got to be ready for it mentally. It can bring the ugly out in the people if they don’t support it. But a lot of friends told me, ‘Holy shit, keep going. Keep doing you, girl.’”
