IsMyGirl Goes to 100% Payout as Crisis Relief for Models

LOS ANGELES—Subscription-based social media platform IsMyGirl Wednesday announced that in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all verified models on the site will earn 100 percent commission on all sales (after credit card processing) until June 1. This Pandemic Relief package extends to both existing and new models on IsMyGirl and its sister sites, IsMyGuy and Inked Girls.

“Given the difficult circumstances right now with COVID-19, we wanted to provide a stimulus package to our models that can help them support themselves and their families, as well as spur the economy," IsMyGirl CEO Evan Seinfeld said. “Most other subscription sites currently offer a 60/40, 70/30 or 80/20 revenue share. We’re having our models keep 100 percent of their earnings for the next two months, after credit card processing fees, which comes out to 87.5 percent. We are basically kicking all the revenue from our entire platform back to our models.”

Seinfeld added, “No one should have to deal with financial hardships right now, and we want our models to know how much we appreciate their hard work and the incredible culture they have built for the IsMyGirl model community. While our business is trending upwards so rapidly with so many people in the world being home, we’re letting our models know that we are prioritizing their wellbeing by putting our money where our mouth is, and giving them 100 percent of the profits.”

IsMyGirl reports that over the course of the past two weeks, it has seen a 40 percent increase in sales, 400 percent increase in new model signups (with hundreds and hundreds of new models signing up each day) and 50 percent increase in overall traffic. The site recently extended relief opportunities to hotel workers and McDonald's employees affected by the COVID-19 crisis, reporting that dozens of the latter have signed up with the site.

As part of IsMyGirl's relief efforts, it is also donating the Free Speech Coalition's Emergency Fund for adult industry talent and crew members. In addition, models on IsMyGirl, IsMyGuy and Inked Girls have an option to donate part of their earnings to the FSC, and anyone else may do so by visiting the IsMyGirl Model Portal and clicking the available link for FSC donations, or simply visiting the FSC website directly.

“By working with FSC on the Emergency Fund, we can help to ensure that talent, the backbone of our industry, are being taken care of and given opportunities to earn the most possible income during this lockdown,” Seinfeld said. “We are truly all in this together!”

“We’re grateful to IsMyGirl.com and its sister sites for contributing to the Emergency Fund, as well as all their work for helping performers generate income during this shutdown,” FSC executive director Michelle L. LeBlanc commented. “We are heartened to see all the ways adult businesses and workers are coming together to make sure we all get through this.”
