UPDATE: The company has expanded its offer to all restaurant and hospitality workers who have lost their jobs due to the closings brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
LOS ANGELES—The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is hitting nearly everyone pretty hard, what with some businesses closing, and with the warnings about being in crowds, businesses that are still open are furloughing employees. In response to news of McDonald’s closing seating and the potential for having nearly 517,000 employees with unpaid sick leave as a result of COVID-19, IsMyGirl.com, an adult social media platform that helps models, influencers and adult entertainers to monetize their content, is offering all McDonalds workers the chance to earn 90% of their proceeds (after credit card processing) by working in the field of adult entertainment.
“As a result of the coronavirus, many people have not been able to go work and earn a living,” said Evan Seinfeld, multi-platinum musician, actor, and founder of IsMyGirl. “To supplement their incomes, people are turning to the online adult entertainment industry. In addition to earning, models are able to conduct their business from the comfort and safety of their home. In an effort to help McDonald’s employees, and to make sure they can continue to provide for themselves and their families, we want to help provide them with a legitimate option.”
New data shows that over the past month, tens of thousands of models on IsMyGirl are earning more than ever before. Model income on the site is up 40%, model sign-ups have increased 30% and overall site traffic has increased by 50%.
In addition to allowing models to earn 90% of their proceeds for six months, IsMyGirl will provide those unfamiliar with the adult entertainment or influencer industries assistance in maximizing their earning potential, which for some models exceeds $100,000 per year.
(P.S.—we're guessing that one doesn't have to be a McDonald's employee to take advantage of this offer.)
