CAM4VR and Ela Darling Featured in New Book by Wired Editor

LOS ANGELES—Award-winning live cam company CAM4 today announced that their CAM4VR XXX virtual reality product has been featured in a newly published book, written by Wired magazine senior editor Peter Rubin.

The book, entitled Future Presence, features an in-depth interview with CAM4VR’s content manager Ela Darling, herself the co-founder of one of the first VR sites, VRTube.xxx. The book explores how new technologies are changing human relationships. In a captivating and candid commentary, Rubin delves into the future "realities" of virtual reality. He provides an insightful critique of how people can use this emerging technology to form previously thought-to-be-impossible relationships, thereby creating new frontiers of intimacy and forever changing the “human connection.”

Ela Darling was the world’s first VR cam girl and is recognized as a pioneer in the adult industry. Commenting on her inclusion in the book, Darling said, “It was a supreme honor to have been interviewed by Peter Rubin for his book, Future Presence. He covers all aspects of the emerging virtual reality industry with the objectivity and unique clarity and insight that only the Sr. Editor at Wired could possess. He discusses VR porn and live camming with humor, fairness, and honesty. I'm thrilled to have gotten to share CAM4VR with him and to be immortalized in his book.”

CAM4VR offers a revolutionary way of connecting content creators with live audiences in a true-life 360-degree virtual reality environment. The platform strives to remove the limits to intimacy by helping to foster authentic relationships and experiences.

The book, Future Presence: How Virtual Reality is Changing Human Connection, Intimacy, and the Limits of Ordinary Life, is now available on Amazon.
