CYBERSPACE—At the same golf tournament where Stormy Daniels reportedly has sex with Donald Trump, beginning an affair with the then-reality TV star that lasted nearly a year, a former Playboy Playmate of the Year also has sex with Trump, according to a blockbuster report by reporter Ronan Farrow in the New Yorker Magazine.
According to the Farrow report, which may read in its entirety at this link, 1998 Playboy Playmate of the Year Karen McDougal had sex with Trump at the July 2006 American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe, Nevada—after meeting Trump a month earlier at Playboy Mansion pool party.
Trump flew McDougal to the tournament—but made her pay for her own ticket up front before later reimbursing her for the cost of the trip. “No paper trails for him,” McDougal wrote in an eight-page handwritten diary-style memo, obtained by Farrow through a third party.
At that same golf tournament, Trump met Daniels for the first time—and allegedly began an affair with the AVN Hall of Famer as well. According to an account given by Daniels herself to InTouch Magazine in 2012, Daniels and Trump had intercourse in his hotel room in Lake Tahoe.
Daniels also claimed in the 2011 interview that the sexual encounter with Trump was only the first in an affair that continued for about a year. But Trump was carrying on his affair with Daniels at the same time as he was having an affair with McDougal, according to the reports. Whether either woman was aware of Trump’s simultaneous extramarital affairs remains unclear.
A White House spokesperson dismissed the McDougal affair allegations as “fake news.”
Both alleged affairs began when Trump had been married to his third wife, Melania Knauss, for only about two years—and just a few months after their son Barron Trump was born.
According to a Marist Poll released on Wednesday, 34 percent—approximately one-third—of all Americans believe that Melania should leave her husband in light of revelations about his extramarital sexual encounters.
While Daniels received a payment of $130,000 from Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, just a month before the 2016 presidential election allegedly to keep her quiet about her affair with Trump, McDougal struck a deal with the National Enquirer newspaper for $150,000 to tell her story about sex with Trump, according to the New Yorker report.
But the tabloid never ran the story, deliberately killing it to protect Trump and silence McDougal, the report says. National Enquirer owner David Pecker considers himself a close, personal friend of Trump, according to The New Yorker.
It was Ronan Farrow who first reported the multiple sexual harassment and assault allegations against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein in a New Yorker exposé last year.
