'LA Weekly' Features Buck Angel in Annual 'People' Issue

LOS ANGELES—Famed trans-man Buck Angel is the porn personality LA Weekly chose to spotlight in its 2017 "People" issue, out now.

Noting that Angel remains the only female-to-male trans performer to ever win AVN's Transsexual Performer of the Year award (which he did in 2007), the piece, titled "The Inventor," discusses his Buck-Off sex toy—a masturbator he designed in conjunction with Perfect Fit Brand specifically for FTM people, which won AVN's "O" Award this year for Outstanding Innovation—as well as his move into the marijuana business with Pride Cannabis, a brand of vape cartridges marketed to the trans community, his work as an activist and filmmaker, and more.

Angel, who also took home the AVN Award this year for Best Transsexual Sex Scene (for his pairing with Valentina Nappi in DV Productions/Evil Angel's Girl/Boy 2), joins April O'Neil, James Deen, Jessie Andrews, Dave Naz, Paul Thomas and a number of others from adult industry community who've made the pages of the "People" issue.
