HOLLYWOOD — X-Play/Hustler Video's Not the Bradys XXX has charted at Number One for HotMovies.com. "We've never had a title shoot up the charts so quickly," stated HotMovies.com director of business development James Cybert. Not the Bradys XXX debuted on the popular VoD site two weeks ago.
Echoing those sentiments, Hustler Video national sales manager David Diamond said, "This movie shows no signs of really slowing down. I get reorders for DVDs every single day."
The familiar and nostalgic subject matter of the spoof, X-Play/All Media Play president Jeff Mullen said, opened the movie to a wide audience. "We've been able to reach customers including women that might not normally purchase an adult movie, let alone walk into a porn store," he said.
Having found a successful niche, the X-Play boys aren't about to let a good thing die. On the horizon for the company is a "Bewitched" parody cleverly titled Not Bewitched XXX.
