BARCELONA, Spain - Private Media Group has announced plans to re-release 12 of its best known films through a new "Classics" line, beginning in 2009.
"The ‘Classics' line will showcase the films that made Private famous for its Hollywood-style polish, exotic locations and superstar casts and made Private the world leader in adult entertainment," said Javier Sanchez, vice president of content at Private.
Kicking off the new line will be Pyramid, which will be re-released in January 2009. The movie, which stars Tania Russof and is directed by Pierre Woodman, is set in ancient Egypt. Russof won the Best Actress award at Venus Berlin in 1998 for her performance.
The new packaging for the film will feature an exclusive interview with Woodman, back-stage footage and two full-length bonus scenes. Future releases will feature a similar format, with each of the 12 titled repackaged as two discs, with one containing extra content such as interviews with stars and directors and more.
