LOS ANGELES—Adult performer Flower Tucci is suing Reality Kings and other web operators for trademark infringement and cybersquatting, it has been revealed.
According to the lawsuit, filed April 15 in the California Central District Court's Western Division Los Angeles Office, Tucci, under her real name of Carole Malloy, names RK Netmedia, Inc., Net 227, Inc., Namecheap, Inc., Eddie Collins, Scorching Sands, Inc., Adam Nalepowski, Michael Puszkarz, T. Kgels, and LLL Adverstising, Inc., as defendants.
Molloy states that in 2007, after some five years in the adult industry, she registered her performer name of Flower Tucci with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
The lawsuit claims the defendants registered and operated websites that use variations on Molloy's porn star name, including FlowerTucci.com, Club-FlowerTucci.com, FlowerTucciPix.com and FlowerTucciNude.com—all without her permission.
Molloy alleges many of the sites are linked to Reality Kings, which as a business operates under the name RK Netmedia.
The lawsuit seeks monetary compensation, punitive damages and attorney costs, as well as a restraining order against further operation of the sites.
Molloy is represented by Michael Walter Fattorosi and Michael D. Kuznetsky of adult industry law firm Fattorosi and Associates. Fattorosi told AVN.com Friday that while he's unable to comment on ongoing litigation, the case is similar to one he filed last year for Devinn Lane.
A representative for Reality Kings told AVN.com, "We received the complaint, reviewed it with our attorneys and believe the complaint to be baseless. We look forward to responding to the complaint in court. Stay tuned."
The case has been assigned to Judge Margaret M. Morrow.
Born in Burbank, Calif., Molloy has credits as Flower Tucci that include hundreds of adult DVDs and website scenes. She has a recurring role in the mainstream Showtime TV series Family Business, which is about Adam Glasser, aka Seymore Butts. Tucci also hosted two radio shows on the now-defunct adult radio station KSEX radio, The Porn Hunnies Smut Top 20 and Tushy Talk. She's been a spokesperson and model for the Los Angeles-based clothing company Mofowear.
In 2006, she won an AVN Award in the category of Best Specialty Release for Squirting with Flower's Squirt Shower 2 and was a Best Group Sex Scene AVN Winner for Fashionistas: Safado.
