Buyers Finding Plenty of Deals At ILS

LAS VEGAS - As buyers continued to roam the aisles Tuesday at the International Lingerie Show at the Rio Hotel, they were finding some incredible deals and signing some pretty hefty contracts.
Ann Marie Holman of JT's Stockroom said buyers were showing great interest in the new ready-to-wear line, which its sister company Syren debuted this week at ILS.

And Stockroom/Syren isn't alone. Coquette International representatives said the company's new Signature Collection box line of lingerie was its best seller during the trade show.

Shirley of Hollywood also debuted two new lines - Marilyn Monroe by Shirley, which features creations inspired by the beauty and spirit of the late movie star, and Shirley Dress Ups, which features a garment and accessories to serve as a costume, intimate wear, or even club wear.

Lingerie companies weren't the only ones debuting new items. Sliquid, LCC unveiled new pillow packs for its Sliquid Organics line, which are constructed from 75 percent post-consumer cardboard.

"They are a new design and completely recyclable," said company President Dean Elliot.

With many companies offering buyers discounts and other deals to combat the current recession, many buyers are rewarding those companies by buying. Several companies said they were experiencing one of the best ILS shows ever.

ILS continues through Wednesday. An AVN photo gallery of Day 2 is available at AVN.com.
