LOS ANGELES—Dakota Payne’s new song "Smoke & Mirrors," written and produced for Luxxxe Studios' Friends in Heat Season 2, releases on Friday, October 13 on all music streaming platforms.
It's the same day as Episode Two of Friends in Heat—"Guess Who's Cumming To Dinner"—will be released exclusively on AEBN and NakedSword.
Singer and porn star Dakota Payne and Trent Park co-wrote "Smoke and Mirrors" for Friends in Heat Season 2, which was executive produced by Luxxxe Studios CEO JD Daniels.
“I am so excited about this project," Payne said. "Smoke & Mirrors and Season 2 of Friends in Heat are a perfect pairing—a mega-hit song for a mega-hit movie.”
Payne and Daniels first met on July 9, 2023, to form this partnership with JD announcing the collaboration on X that same day. On August 12, Dakota teased the song in an X post and then the title of the song was revealed on August 17.
“Dakota and Trent did an amazing job with 'Smoke & Mirrors,'" Daniels said. "It is just as unique, sexy and amazing as Friends in Heat. I know everyone is going to love the song as much as I do.”
The music video for "Smoke & Mirrors" is scheduled to film in December of 2023 and premiere in January 2024. The video will feature both leads from Friends in Heat—Luxxxe Studios exclusive Justin Yurmouth and veteran star Brian Bonds.
Payne also has released songs such as "S.A.D.," "Love Me Not" and "Trade" featuring Honey Davenport.
