We’ve come across more than our fair share of harnesses that are great for a little light play or fun, but the SpareParts Joque Harness from SpareParts HardWear ( (available through Entrenue) is our favorite when it comes to items for packing enthusiasts. Crafted from polyester and Spandex or nylon, the unit has inner layers of mesh so it breathes and can be worn all day without any discomfort. Since the fabric is pliable and stretchy, it fits most users’ forms snugly, and it can also be worn in water for shower, pool or tub play. But the fabric and elastic O-ring (1.5 inches, but expands up to 2 inches) are sturdy enough to handle heavier attachments. Two sizes are available to accommodate most body shapes, and the piece is cut more like a jock strap, so the straps rest under the buttocks rather than riding up them. The piece is machine or hand washable and has no metal parts to rust, which onl y gives it even more bonus points.
