Two-year veteran Alix Lynx "started really slow," as she puts it. "I started doing girl/girl, changed my look, got some new boobs two months ago. I'm a little bit wiser now, I like to think. A little more sophisticated look."
She lists among her hobbies "reading business/marketing/self improvement books" and says "I'm a little bit of a nerd. I'm college-educated, I have my MBA. I did the whole corporate 9-to-5 thing. I hated it. I always wanted to do porn since I was a teenager. Long story short, I started webcamming at 21, loved it. Low stress, I was in control. Helped me learn how to be an entrepreneur. Taught me how to do everything all by myself. Transitioned to full-time webcam, to I'm sick of New York and I want to do porn, so I'm going to do porn."
She says her business background affects her adult industry work "in every way possible. This is an art, but at the end of the day it's a business and that's how I treat it, and that's how I run everything. Whether it's learning that I should make my own corporation, which I have, learning how to outsource stuff so I don't have to do everything, to learning how to wear many hats because sometimes I do have to do it all. Customer service, marketing, my social media marketing. It all goes back full circle."
The tattoo on her lower back reflects her outlook: it says "Fortune favors the brave" — in Latin. Her words to live by: "Work hard, be kind, stay humble."
