HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Adult film director Will Ryder was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from Italy’s Doppio Senso Awards, held this Sunday in the Province of Treviso, Italy. He was previously inducted into the organization's Hall of Fame three years earlier.
Said Ryder, "This is the honor of a lifetime, and I’m truly flattered and thankful to once again be so wonderfully recognized by this organization. I don’t even speak Italian, but I humbly offer a big grazie."
The awards show is a venture by the long-running production team that produces Doppio Senso Night, a live weekly television show on the Italian TV channel Prima Free.
Ryder is an active writer/director/producer, and a member of five Halls of Fame including AVN, XRCO, NightMoves, Urban X, and Doppio Senso. He gave thanks to fellow director Axel Braun, who made the introduction to the show’s producers a few years ago.
Ryder shared, "Axel and I are long-time friends, and he’s from Italy, so without his introduction, none of this would have been possible."
Braun expressed, "Will is an outstanding writer and director, and his movies are very entertaining so I couldn’t be happier to see him get this lifetime achievement award in Italia."
