LOS ANGELES—Wifey has released a new scene starring Swamp Barbee, her husband Bruce, and performer Jason Luv.
In the video, directed by Derek Dozer, Barbee takes on Luv while her husband watches. The scene is available on Wifey.com and Vixen Plus.
The new release marks a major milestone for Swamp Barbee, who is showing her face on camera for the very first time.
“I feel like I was... staying in my 'safe space' without showing my face,” Barbee said, “I was worried what would happen if people found out about us. But now we want to go all in and show who we are completely and to hell with what others think.”
For a creator who had built a following from behind a carefully guarded persona, dropping the anonymity was a careful consideration.
“We are at a stage in our lives that we want to live it on our terms. To do it our way,” she reflected. “I’m nervous, anxious, excited, and a little scared about the fans' response, honestly. I am just hoping it’s mostly positive and I get to know more fans.”
When it came time to decide how she wanted to reveal her face, Wifey just made sense. The platform's unscripted, authentic stories matched the way she and Bruce actually moved through the lifestyle.
"We love sharing our story with people and letting others know how we navigate through it and Wifey is a platform that wants the real and raw stories," she said. "The real couples that share their unique experiences and are not staged."
That approach mattered for a first-timer who walked onto set carrying every ounce of her nerves with her. In the end, it wasn't the cameras she remembered most. It was the crew.
"Of course, the entire experience was epic and not one negative thing" she recalled. "Everyone was so incredibly nice and patient with us. I was so nervous, and they made me feel so relaxed and made this experience so much fun for us."
For Swamp Barbee, that’s what she believes separates Wifey from anything else in adult content. "It's real. You want to know each couple's story," she said. "Everyone has a different story and experience in the hotwife lifestyle, and Wifey makes it comfortable and fun to share those. You don't have to feel like you need to have a juicy story with Wifey, the real life stuff is what they want."
Barbee said she hopes it's an understanding of what actually anchors her relationship with Bruce. The lifestyle, she stressed, isn't about plugging a gap.
"This lifestyle works for us because of our communication, trust and commitment to each other," she said. "We aren't trying to fill a missing piece of our relationship but just enhance our relationship."
