LAS VEGAS—Viva Las Vegas, a four-day expo that celebrates rockabilly music, has named burlesque performer Helen Bedd as its brand ambassador.
The event, taking place April 24-27 at the Orleans Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, is considered the "Largest Rockabilly Event in the World" and the longest running music festival in Las Vegas since its inception in 1998, attracting nearly 20,000 each year. The festival features rockabilly music from over 100 world-renowned bands and legends of rockabilly as well as dozens of popular DJs spinning their hits, along with hot rods, dancing, burlesque, pool parties, shopping and more. For tickets, visit VivaLasVegas.net.
“This is such a joy and honor to take part as an ambassador with Viva Las Vegas," Bedd said. "It is a city that lives within my heart and soul. Now, I get to be one of the people who brings this celebratory weekend to even more fans, followers, and the populace. Nothing goes better with rockabilly music than maybe a car show with Cadillacs. Perhaps that is all it takes to get your first tattoo, and Viva Las Vegas will have them all available to you—some of the best in the world. Then, of course, when you feel a little zesty, enjoy some of the best burlesque shows on the planet. There is something for everyone at this gathering, no matter what mood you are in. I hope that all of my fans get to join me. Viva Las Vegas!”
The host hotel is fully booked for this event, but rooms are still available at the Gold Coast Hotel Casino for those interested in attending the event. For inquiries, click here. To see the festival's promotional video on YouTube, click here.
