LOS ANGELES—ULoversDoll recently attended the Shanghai International Adult Products Industry Exhibition (APIEXPO) joining other companies exhibiting their products.
With nearly 400 brands across more than 26,000 square meters, the expo served as a central platform for product launches, supply chain connections, and industry dialogue. Among the exhibiting doll manufacturers were Topcydoll, ClimaxDoll, Elsababe, Shedoll and Sigafun.
At this year’s show, material innovation remained a primary focus. Manufacturers are accelerating the development of lightweight silicone solutions designed to improve handling and usability while maintaining the realistic aesthetics and tactile qualities expected in the premium products.
"In parallel, production techniques continue to evolve, with greater emphasis on consistency in skin finishing, facial detailing, and structural assembly," the company said in its announcement. "The balance between scalable manufacturing and hand-finished craftsmanship remains a defining challenge—and opportunity—for leading brands."
Another notable trend cited by the company is the gradual integration of interactive and modular technologies. While still in development, these features point to a shift toward more personalized and responsive user experiences, aligning with broader trends across the adult tech space.
ULoversDoll also completed an in-depth visit to several leading manufacturers, including Irontech, RealLady and Singafun. The team gained firsthand knowledge of the craftsmanship behind modern doll manufacturing. The process included body molding, hand-applied skin finishing, detailed makeup artistry, eye production, and both manual and machine-assisted hair implantation. The team also observed internal skeleton assembly and the latest advancements in developing ultra-lightweight silicone bodies that maintain a realistic appearance and soft texture body design.
In addition, ULoversDoll representatives held discussions with manufacturing teams regarding product development, quality standards, and future trends in the industry. The exchange reflected a shared commitment to improving realism, durability, and user experience.
“Our goal has always been to better understand the products we offer and continuously bring higher-quality options to our customers,” said a representative from ULoversDoll. “Seeing the production process in person reinforces the level of detail and effort involved.”
