LOS ANGELES—AVN Hall of Famer Tommy Gunn recently joined former adult performer Jasmin St. Claire on her “Krazy Train Podcast,” offering listeners “an engaging conversation that spanned industry insights, personal experiences, and future transformations in the world of adult entertainment,” a representative said.
During the podcast, Gunn and St. Claire explored a range of topics including a nostalgic look at the golden era of adult films and a comparison with the modern-day industry. They discussed the evolving challenges performers face and how technology has revolutionized the way content is produced and distributed, opening the door to a new generation of creators.
Reflecting on his conversation, Gunn said, "It was great catching up with Jasmin. She’s definitely got experience from the days when the industry was far different than it is today. It was nice reflecting on the past, discussing the current state of the industry, and how technology has changed everything. We’re witnessing the future of XXX."
The conversation also touched on the younger generation's shift away from traditional blockbuster films like Pirates and Spartacus, productions that represent the mid-'00s era in industry. Gunn added, "Gone are the days when we made Blockbuster movies like Pirates and Spartacus. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next."
A highlight of the podcast was Tommy’s discussion of his latest projects—his memoir due out in late summer/early fall, as well as a 70-minute documentary produced in collaboration with filmmaker Joel Van der Molen, slated for release across several digital platforms in May.
“The film pulls back the curtain on the adult entertainment industry, offering an honest and unfiltered look into the personal and professional lives of performers and those working behind the scenes,” a plot synopsis said. The documentary includes appearances from Alexis Texas, Cherie DeVille, Emma Hix, Alexis Fawx, Danny Mountain, James Bartholet, and more.
St. Claire, known for her work both in adult entertainment and professional wrestling, “has been a vocal advocate for industry veterans and the evolving narrative of adult entertainment. Her ‘Krazy Train Podcast’ serves as a platform that brings thoughtful conversations to the forefront, providing listeners with a nuanced perspective on one of the most dynamic industries in entertainment,” the representative added.
