PREGANZIOL, Italy—Thea Summers has won Best International Rising Star at Italy's Doppio Senso Night Awards, her first industry award.
The DSN Awards took place May 17 at New 1000 Lire in Preganziol as part of the "Veneto Experience" event, honoring excellence in Italian and international adult entertainment.The awards show is the creation of Italian journalist and broadcast personality Massimo Bonera, host of Doppio Senso Night, a live weekly television show airing on Italy's Prima Free network since 2011.
Summers received 41 percent of the fan vote.
Said Summers, "I'm honestly overwhelmed with gratitude right now. Italy has always been a place I've dreamed of, so receiving my first award here feels so incredibly special to me. I've only been in the industry for a year and a half, and truly didn't expect my work to be recognized on this level so quickly."
She added, "I am beyond grateful for everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and encouraged me. This is the best early birthday present I could ever ask for, and truly a moment I will never forget."
