LOS ANGELES—Talent Testing Service (TTS) released its June 2026 update, showing a slight decline in sexually transmitted disease positivity rates compared with May.
Chlamydia urine positivity rates continued their downward trend from the November 2022 peak, remaining unchanged in June at 0.9 percent. With historical levels around 2.0 percent, current rates remain within expected ranges.
In June, gonorrhea urine positivity rates remain unchanged at 0.1 percent, with the female rate increasing from 0.0 percent and the male rate declining from 0.2 percent, making the total rate unchanged.
Other results for June include:
• The three Trichomonas Vaginalis urine rates decreased: the total rate to 0.2 percent from 0.4 percent, the female rate at 0.3 percent from 0.5 percent, and the male rate at 0.1 percent from 0.3 percent with the current rate levels within the general range of 0.0 percent to 1.5 percent
• The Mycoplasma G. urine rates turned up, the total rate to 3.0 percent from 2.7 percent and the male rate to 2.7 percent from 2.2 percent and the female rate remained the same at 3.3 percent.
• The Chlamydia rectal rates show the total rate turning down to 0.8 percent from 1.1 percent, the male rate up at 0.6 percent from 0.3 percent, and the female rate decreasing to 0.9 percent from 1.9 percent.
