HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Adult performer, journalist and advocate Siouxsie Q is calling on the adult community and free speech allies to support the HandsOffMyPorn movement by voting for its nomination in the 17th Annual Shorty Awards.
A finalist in the Government & Politics category, the “HandsOffMyPorn” campaign was launched by Artists United for Change to challenge the growing threat of Project 2025, a radical political agenda targeting civil liberties and online privacy.
“With a powerful digital strategy and support from over 50 award-winning pornstars, the campaign successfully reframed political discourse around censorship, privacy, and bodily autonomy,” a representative said.
“HandsOffMyPorn is more than a slogan—it’s a defense of our personal freedoms and a demand to be heard,” said Siouxsie Q, a lead organizer and spokesperson for the initiative. “To be recognized by the Shorty Awards [with a nomination] is an incredible honor. Now we need the community’s support to help push us to the finish line.”

The Shorty Awards “celebrate excellence in digital and social media across industries, honoring the work of brands, agencies, nonprofits, and individuals creating change in the online space,” the representative added.
