PAHRUMP, Nev.—On Oct. 10–11, Sheri’s Ranch will be hosting a "Booty & Buccaneers" event that blends fantasy and hospitality.
While the event’s playful pirate theme delivers a seafood buffet, live music, and sword-swinging entertainment, the heart of the event is something more meaningful: a chance for the public to experience the legal Nevada brothel as an open, welcoming, and stigma-free space.
“We know there’s a lot of curiosity about Nevada’s legal brothels,” said Dena, madam of Sheri’s Ranch.
“This event is about replacing preconceived notions with reality. People will see that we’re not a notorious vice in the desert, but a licensed resort with hospitality at our core, run by people who care about their work, their guests, and their community.”
Friday’s program will feature a hand-balancing duo, an aerial act, a sword swallower, a snake charmer, and an outdoor fire show. Each evening begins at 6 p.m. with a chef-prepared buffet. Friday’s menu highlights seafood and tropical-inspired dishes and includes two complimentary drinks.
Saturday’s lineup will include a knife-balancing act, an ambient hula-hoop performance, a walk-around performer with exotic snakes, an acrobatic salsa act, and tableside magic. Dinner service begins at 6 p.m., featuring gourmet cuisine and two complimentary drinks.
Guests are encouraged to wear their best pirate attire, but costumes are not mandatory.
