SEATTLE—Elevate, an interview series presented by Streamate, concludes 2024 with a collaboration featuring Savannah Sly, the founder and co-director of New Moon Network.
Recently appointed to the board of directors for the Free Speech Coalition, Sly is active in the realms of sex work and sex worker advocacy and draws on experience from her personal journey in various facets of sex work since the age of 18 to tackle issues such as criminalization, surveillance, discrimination, and societal stigma.
Currently, Savannah plays an active role on the global steering committee of the Sex Work Donor Collaborative and serves as a board member of the Woodhull Freedom Foundation. Previously, Savannah was President of the board of Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) USA and was involved in organizing for SWOP’s Seattle chapter. She has also contributed to initiatives at the Gender Justice League, ACLU of Washington State, and grassroots efforts focused on sex work.

The collaboration “Savannah Sly x Elevate,” features a candid one-on-one interview hosted by Vanessa Eve and directed by feminist porn filmmaker Inka Winter. The conversation delves into the connections between various adult industry sectors, Savannah’s advocacy for sex worker rights, including mainstream philanthropic spaces, and a personal glimpse into her upbringing in New England.
Additionally, Sly will share insights and advice for sex work organizers and advocates through a special pre-recorded Q&A session titled, “Powerful Advice for Sex Work Organizers and Advocates.”
