LOS ANGELES—Performer, content creator and tabletop gaming enthusiast Ryan Keely, sometimes known as “America’s Favorite Stepmom,” will return as a featured guest in the live comedy role-playing show “Dungeon” on Friday, May 1, at the Lyric Hyperion Theater in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles.
Created and hosted by writer and Game Master John-Michael Bond, “Dungeon” combines “improvisation, stand-up comedy and tabletop role-playing into a live one-player fantasy quest where audience interaction and the roll of the dice shape the story in real time,” a show rep said.
For this edition, Keely joins a lineup featuring comedians Solomon Georgio, Joe McAdam and Dustin Meadows.
Keely said her return to the show underscores her genuine connection to the tabletop and roleplaying communities, where fantasy storytelling, collaborative play and chaos all have natural appeal.
“I am so excited to go back on Dungeon for a second time,” Keely said. “John-Michael puts on a great show and I can’t wait to break his game.”
Featured at conventions and festivals around the country, “’Dungeon’ has developed a devoted following for its inventive format, in which guest performers face solo adventures full of monsters, absurdity and audience-fueled suspense, with every critical dice roll projected live on screen,” the rep added.
