Ryan Keely Launches 'Home Hacks' YouTube Series

HOLLYWOOD—Ryan Keely has launched "Home Hacks," a YouTube series following her hands-on renovation of her one-bedroom apartment.

The series follows Keely as she tackles the renovation entirely on her own, blending DIY approaches with accessible design solutions and documenting the step-by-step transformation of her space. “All you need is a dream,” said Keely.

Joining Keely on the project is interior designer Rock Zehler, who serves as creative collaborator and expert guide, providing space-maximizing strategies and design advice tailored for multi-use residential layouts. Zehler runs Secret Spaces, a Los Angeles-based interior design business focused on creating dramatic transformations in residential spaces.

"There is plenty of information on how to put an office in your living room, but there isn’t a whole lot about putting a production studio in your home. I want to show other creators how to make their multipurpose spaces more beautiful and liveable and optimized to support production. I hope sharing my journey will inspire, educate, or at least entertain those who want an in-depth look at one way to tackle a complex problem in an aesthetic and efficient way," said Keely.

The project is executive produced by Keely with the support from producer Marcy Guevara ("Top Chef," "Love Island: Beyond the Villa," "Wahl Street").

"I have loved the opportunity to work on this project. With a background in TV, I am thrilled to break into the short-form space. Ryan’s creativity and breadth of knowledge make her an easy talent to produce! This series is just the beginning of a long list of exciting things ahead. I love that this shows that ladies can do it ourselves and also how multifaceted someone like Ryan can be. I have personally learned so much about home renovation from Ryan—she makes it fun, sexy, and accessible!" added Guevara.

Zehler shared, "Ryan and I first started collaborating in the early pandemic, when I helped her heavily edit down her space to get it functioning. The relationship with a space keeps evolving as what someone needs from a room changes. Multipurpose doesn’t have to mean compromise; it means the design keeps pace with the person living in it. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned from Ryan, it’s that she doesn’t do things halfway. It’s not your traditional client/designer dynamic for sure."

Each episode highlights specific elements of the transformation, budget-friendly design swaps, and practical tips for maximizing space in urban homes, with behind-the-scenes moments, real renovation challenges, and actionable home improvement takeaways. Post-production services are provided by Media Grinders.

Octavio Arizala, master grinder at Media Grinders, expressed, "Home Hacks" is exactly the kind of project we love working on at Media Grinders—creative, original content that doesn’t try to fit into a traditional TV box. Ryan has a vision, creates a ton of content, and is always finding new ways to connect with her audience. The raw, unscripted DIY nature makes it especially fun to work on; you never really know what you’re going to find when the dailies come in."

"Home Hacks" premiered Aug. 11 on Keely’s YouTube channel, with new episodes dropping every other Tuesday. Episode 2 debuts today.
