Roux Participates in High Performance Driving Event
NEW YORK—Adult performer Roux recently brought her purple Porsche 911 GT3 RS to Lightning Raceway at New Jersey Motorsports Park, where she participated in Metro New York PCA’s high-performance driver education weekend in Millville, N.J.
The weekend event welcomes drivers of all skill levels and car makes, offering instruction and valuable track experience. For Roux and other participants, it provided an opportunity to learn how to carry speed through turns, better understand the GT3 RS, and connect with fellow members of the car community.
“I’ve wanted to track my GT3 RS since I got her last November, but I couldn’t find the time,” she said. “I’ve loved going fast and adrenaline-inducing hobbies since I was about four because of my dad. He used to put me on the tank of his bike and do wheelies, and allegedly I would yell, ‘Faster!’ As an adult, I still love speed, but now I’m learning the ins and outs of handling it through turns. I also love the car community and getting to share the experience with other people.”
