“After all the buildup, anticipation and demand, we couldn’t be happier about Romeo & Juliet’s release,” said DreamZone Entertainment Vice President Adam Hasner. “With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the film will serve as the perfect centerpiece for a store’s holiday display. With proper merchandising and promotion, retailers have a unique opportunity to attract more mainstream consumers to their location or website."
Hasner added, "Couples-oriented releases such as this greatly help in expanding the adult market. Romeo & Juliet is just the beginning of DreamZone’s new line of romantic films. We urge retailers and fans to look out for more information on our next title, Love or Lust?, and other future projects.”
Set in present time, the story commences with Romeo (Rocco Reed) heart-broken over the loss of his former girlfriend Rosalyn (Andy San Dimas). Through the consolation of his loyal friend Benvolio, Romeo discovers comfort in the arms of the equally woeful Juliet (Chanel Preston). Despite the unending feud which rages between their families, the two lovers forbid the ensuing turmoil to obstruct their union.
When the strife spirals out of control, Romeo and Juliet are left with dire consequences and life-altering decisions to make. Following the impassioned duo through this chaos are India Summer (Lady Capulet), Anthony Rosano (Tybalt), Ann Marie Rios (Polly), Brian Street Team (Benvolio) and AVN Hall of Famer Tom Byron (Capulet patriarch).
