HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Adult film director and writer Ricky Greenwood and his casts and crews had significant success at the 2025 AVN Awards. The director has also been nominated for multiple Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs), to be held in March.
Greenwood and his casts and crews won several awards in categories presented on stage. The director was called up twice to accept two of his three trophies for Grand Reel for Digital Playground’s Gold Diggers, Best Directing Portfolio - Varied Range, and Outstanding Directing—Individual Work, also for Gold Diggers.
The same film also won Best Three-Way Sex Scene for Kimmy Granger, Adria Rae, and Seth Gamble.
The Best Lead Actor trophy went to Chad Alva, who starred in his Dorcel musical Alive. He was present and accepted the award on stage. The film also snagged the win for Best Music for songs from Queenie Sateen, Victoria Voxxx, and Chad Alva.
Another Dorcel feature Greenwood directed, Amuse Bouche, earned actor Tommy Pistol a trophy for Best Non-Sex Performance.
Greenwood’s crew members also garnered with awards. Kylie Ireland and Andy Appleton won Best Art Direction for their work on Digital Playground’s Project X. Matt Holder garnered Best Cinematography for Digital Playground’s Dirty Cops.
“Thank you so much for everything, AVN,” Greenwood said.
In related news, the director has much more to celebrate with multiple 2025 Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs) nominations for directing and production.
This year, he was nominated again in the Best Scene Producer category, which is the TEAs version of Best Director.
He also snagged directing nominations for three scenes—TransSensual’s TS Hot Wives 4, Scene 1, with Amanda Riley and Cliff Jensen; TS Massage Vol. 6 Scene 2, “Slip & Slide,” with Leilani Li and Roman Todd, who also are up for Best Boy/Girl Scene; and TransSensual’s TS Girls On Top Vol. 8 Scene 4 with Gracie Jane, Queenie Sateen, and Steve Rickz was nominated for Best Threesome or Moresome.
TransSensual’s My Best Friend’s TS Sister 2, directed by Greenwood, was nominated for Best DVD.
“I love that I get to work with such a diverse group of performers on various projects. My job is never boring. I always look forward to the TEAs, not just because I won Best Scene Producer the last two years,” said Greenwood.
