HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Ray Ray earned two nominations for her The Office-inspired comedy Please Hold: A XXX Parody, which she starred in and produced with Hazel Grace’s InMelanin: the Mark Stone Award for Outstanding Comedy and Best Indie/Amateur Movie or Series.
Said Ray, "This was an important movie that had to be made, and Hazel and I put our hearts and souls into it. We had a great time making it, but we also put in some crazy-long days on set and in post-production. It was all worth it, and our fans loved it, plus we got some stellar reviews from critics. To have these two incredible nominations from the AVN Awards left us both speechless, but let us know as Indie filmmakers forging our own path that we’re definitely on the right track, and it’s full speed ahead from here."
