NEW YORK—Mike Dickinson, regional manager of Pony Clubs, was featured in the New York Post in a piece headlined "Strip club chain books 'Honey Boo Boo' star Pumpkin, other influencers to boost revenue: 'Crowds are insane.'"
"You don’t want to be Blockbuster in a Netflix world," said Dickinson.
The article features quotes from Pumpkin, whose real name is Lauryn Efird, of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and "Mama June," as well as porn star-turned-stand-up comedian Shanna Brooks, former UFC and WWE star Matt Riddle, and feature dance agent Frank Bane from The Continental Agency.
Bane shared, "The strip club industry never bounced back after Covid; young people have changed, they’re on their phones, they’re not drinking, they’re not having sex anymore."
