LOS ANGELES—Leya Tanit, founder and CEO of Pineapple Support, a mental health nonprofit serving the adult industry, will attend the TES Affiliate Conference March 9–12 in Marbella, Spain, where she will moderate a panel on the hidden financial and human costs of neglecting workplace mental health.
The panel titled, "The High Cost You’re Not Tracking (But Already Paying For)," will take place on Tuesday, March 10, at 5:00 p.m. Bringing together industry leaders Brad Mitchell (MojoHost), Austin (Mr Skin/Kink), Daniel Keeting (Mindmood/siren.ai), and Andy Lulham (Verify.my), the session will explore strategies for strengthening team wellbeing, supporting staff during scaling and new technology implementation, and maintaining stability during restructuring—while addressing the rising costs of burnout, turnover, and reputational risk.
Said Tanit, "Too often, mental health is viewed as a personal issue rather than a business priority. But the data, and the lived experiences of leaders, show that ignoring wellbeing carries a very real cost. This panel gives leaders practical ways to support their teams through growth, tech changes, and restructuring, because when people feel secure and supported, businesses scale stronger."
Tanit founded Pineapple Support in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 19,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
During TES Marbella, Pineapple Support will also be highlighting Wellbeing by PS, its corporate wellbeing and training division designed specifically to help high-risk and high-pressure businesses, by providing tailored workshops, leadership training, crisis response guidance, and ongoing mental health support programs. Businesses attending TES are invited to learn more about how proactive mental health strategies can reduce turnover, improve morale, and mitigate operational risk.
