Petit Mort Launches 'Obsessed' Podcast With Host Penelope Dario

CYBERSPACE—In celebration of Independence Day and the upcoming re-release of its "Freedom" issue, Petit Mort has launched its first-ever podcast, "Obsessed," hosted by Penelope Dario.

"Obsessed" is a weekly interview series examining the ideas, aesthetics, and personal fixations that shape artists, writers, creators, thinkers, and internet personalities. Each episode explores the topics guests are most invested in.

The inaugural episode featured online journalist and cultural commentator Ali Weiss, who joined Dario for a conversation on fashion, power, sexuality, and one of the internet’s most political mysteries: whether Melania Trump’s wardrobe functioned as a subtle form of resistance within the Trump administration. Equal parts media criticism, fashion analysis, and internet anthropology, the conversation sets the tone for the series’ curiosity-driven approach to culture.

New episodes of "Obssessed" will premiere every Thursday, with upcoming shows featuring Chef Tova, Bardot Smith, TJ Vance of Hot Stuff Zine, Maddie V Baby, April Flores, and many more voices from across art, media, food, fashion, sex work, and contemporary culture.

Petit Mort has spent the past five years documenting people and movements outside the cultural mainstream.
