SAN FRANCISCO—Peter Hooke has received his first AVN nomination, earning a nod for Favorite Independent Male Creator at the 2026 AVN Fan Awards.
Hooke remarked, "This came as a complete shock to me. I know I have been hustling this year, but to be recognized by my industry for that work? Nothing but humbling, and nothing but gratitude."
Hooke added, "Looking at this past year, I think I pushed out around 70 scenes? And 95 percent of those I directed, shot, performed in, edited, and color graded all myself. It's a lot of work, but I take pride in my work, and I love what I do. And I have to shoutout my co-talent, of course! This nomination would have been impossible to receive unless I was able to work with only the best co-performers in the industry; love y'all."
Hooke has been performing independently for about six years, but this is the first time he's received a nomination for the AVN Awards.
Hooke expressed, "I primarily shoot trade and collab work with some mainstream here and there. But there's so much phenomenal male talent to cast; so I've definitely been honing my skills as a one-stop-shop creator! That being said, I am available for, and would love to shoot more studio in addition to my independent work. I'm excited for 2026 as I have a few fetish-focused series I've been building out: 'Wrapped & Wrecked,' 'Drenched Dreamhouse,' and 'Pain Solution.' Expect more big things from these for 2026 and in the coming years!"
