MONTREAL—Penelope Reed returns to Adult Time for the first time since 2018 with the release of Pure Taboo’s “The Family Ritual,” a new erotic drama now streaming.
Directed by Ricky Greenwood, the action opens with newlyweds Reed and Wyatt West celebrating their wedding night under the roof of West’s stepfather, Derrick Pierce. What begins as a traditional post-reception gathering quickly takes a shocking turn when Reed discovers the family has an unconventional, deeply unsettling “tradition.”
“This was one of the first times that I got put in a really dark role, and I loved it,” Reed said. “I got to work with two people that I’ve never worked with before, one of them being Ricky Greenwood, who is an amazing director. He has a great team behind him. Another first was working with Derrick Pierce, who is a friend of mine, but we’ve never worked together, so it was all around an incredible experience for me. I am excited for all my fans to see it! Hopefully, I can do more work like that for Pure Taboo in the future!”
