MIAMI—Paige Steele has released "Heavy is the Crown," a new photoset centered around visibility, vulnerability, and self-expression.
Shot on the beach at night, the photoset features Steele in a flowy white dress and a symbolic crown, moving away from polished glamour toward a self-directed aesthetic.
"It was like a lightbulb moment," Steele said. "That conversation made me wonder how meaningful it can be to reveal more layers of yourself through art and creativity. I think sometimes we use art to perform for others, but end up suffocated by the pressure of it".
She added that "Heavy is the Crown" reflects her evolving relationship with vulnerability and self ownership.
“I think people can reduce adult content to sensuality alone, but for me, it’s a form of self-expression,” Steele said. “There’s storytelling, emotion, vulnerability, creativity, and identity inside of it."
