LOS ANGELES—Octavia Red is the latest guest on the "Holly Randall Unfiltered" podcast, in an episode titled, "Octavia Red: How Porn Set Me Free."
Randall and Red discussed her upbringing in a large religious family, being home-schooled, and living many lives before age 18.
They also talked about how Red got into adult: she was posting boudoir photos on Instagram during COVID when an agent approached her. She hesitated for six months before shooting three scenes, then stepped away—returning a year later.
Red revealed that porn saved her life after the loss of her dad and sisters. It opened doors to music, fashion, modeling, and travel, and gave her opportunities to work with Vixen, Brazzers, Hustler, and pursue things she never thought she’d be able to do.
Red spoke about her favorite type of sex, her love for doing features, and the camaraderie on set with the other performers and crew. She also discussed her Elegant Angel showcase "Red Door," a modern Moulin Rouge meets fantasy.
